Our Journey of Hope

Bantwana Initiative's story
Our Story

Where Necessity Met Compassion

Established in 2008 in the Lubombo region of Eswatini, the Bantwana Initiative was born from a profound need and an unwavering commitment to action. Witnessing the challenges faced by orphaned and vulnerable children, youth, and their families affected by HIV & AIDS and poverty, we knew we had to respond.

What started as a localized effort has grown into a national force for good, driven by our mission to enhance the well-being and resilience of those we serve through holistic care, protection, and empowerment.

Our journey is one of collaboration, innovation, and relentless dedication to building a better future for every child.

Our Mission

"We exist to advance the rights and wellbeing of children and youth, especially those facing vulnerability, by addressing their health, safety, education, and economic needs while adapting to emerging challenges that affect their lives."

Our Vision
